History
The company was founded in 1975 the late Prof. Gianfranco Gilardini to build what was at the time one of the largest and deepest landfill projects globally.
SATIF was responsible for increasing the size of Monaco’s land mass by 20% and the construction lasted 6 years in the period 1965-1971. The project was backed by prominent industrial and financial partners such as FIAT, Mediobanca, BNP, Pathe, or Vinci.
Since 2004 SATIF has been providing consulting services to financial investors and corporations and investing in the wind, solar, smart metering and healthcare industries always as an active investor.
In 2015 Pietrojan Gilardini teamed up with Javier Guerra to structure, conduct due diligence, and transact investments that exceeds $17m in ChargePoint Inc. and in Valens, in partnership with Linse Capital.
